Simonetta Margheriti

Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, specialising in Linguistics. Qualified in 1988 at La Sapienza University, Rome, with a thesis on Comparable literature “Benedetto Croce and German Literature”.
Teaching foreigners since 1988, I understand the importance of “learning and improving” each day, in order to transmit the pleasure of learning Italian language and culture.Professional experience

Currently providing Italian language and culture courses at the following Embassies: Great Britain, Finland, Lithuania, Germany, Sweden.Previously taught at: Embassies of Belgium, The Netherlands, Kuwait, and Hungary.
I have also worked Starwood Hotel, Sony-Ericsson, WFP, ICCROM, Commerzbank and Lucent Technologies.

2007: Design and development of a specialist on-line language course “Italian for Drug Dependency”

2007: Design of residential Italian language course in Foglia (Sabina) for students of ENAIP (Grenoble)

2003-2007: Co-founder and Head of Language Studies at the “Percorsi d’italiano” Italian language and culture school for foreigners.

2002-2006: Languange consultant and admisitrator of language programs for summer managerial courses for ENI’s foreign employees, at the ENI Corporate University, Castel Gandolfo, incollaboration with Team Teaching Language School.

May 2004: Course on the theme of “Town and countryside, two Italian realities”

September 2003: Managerial course for Chinese employees of  Assicurazioni Generali, on behalf of TCO International Diversity Management.

September 1998- May 2001: Manager of Italian Courses for foreigners on behalf of the Byron Language Development School providing courses for Erg Petroli, Mediocredito Centrale, Edf, Embassy of Japan, Blu, IPVC, Nortel.

March 2001-July 2001: Creator and organiser of the “La qualità della vita a Roma” language course for foreigners.

May 2001- May 2002-May 2004: Organiser of themed weekend language-cultural courses at Sabina for Embassy employees.

Since 1988 Italian language teaching for employees at: WFP, Colgate-Palmolive, Ford and Land Rover.
